WOYWW 266 and RAK winner

I finally finished my monster stamp and I've been having heaps of fun with it. The two images on the large sheet of paper are watercolor crayons (and spritzed way too heavily lol). The green image in the front is pigment ink which actually took off some of the Walnut Distress Stain that remained after scrubbing the stamp several times. So stamping and extra cleaning in one go lol. The monster cameo card has a lot of things going on and can be read about here if you're curious.

    I carved the stamp from clear linoleum using the linoleum cutters sold in the art departments of most arts & crafts stores. I used the scissors to angle the edges so I wouldn't have to carve it off (the most dangerous aspect in my experience).

    Well done - you got there. Spritzing water colour crayons - never thought of that.... always use a REALLY tiny paintbrush - obviously not bold enough. Thanks for visiting - I'm still trying to catch up with everyone this week!!

    You weren't kidding about your monster fixation, were you??! Love that card, such fun :-). That dinosaur/dragon sculpture was my favourite by far!
    I think if you toured Europe as a teenager then you're overdue a visit!

    Wow, how clever are you, making your own stamp. I wouldn't have any fingers left if I tried that. Love the big inky one and the card is fabulous. Sorry I'm so late, it's school holidays here.
