Stamp-a-Faire 2016 Remix

I chose Kay Miller's Watercolor Like a Master technique using Through the Trees and a sentiment from Year of Flowers: Lily of the Valley. The foliage is inked with Summer Sunset, Orange Zest and Berry Sorbet. After watering coloring the image there was a little puddle of water. On impulse, I restamped the image and got a little more definition from the 2nd stamping.

Another week of crafty mayhem, and really, isn't that the best sort of mayhem? After I took the picture though it seemed as though alllllll of the other crafty supplies were judging the re-inkers. In the back right is the vellum I cut with one of Tim Holtz' doily dies (very swoon worthy, but not a speedy process).

Meanwhile desk pelican is partying it up with copper embossing powder amongst a small treasure trove of leftover bits and pieces from the crafty frenzy that has been happening.

Some of my favorite pieces:
I just love altering reprints of old photos (please consider scanning or photographing vintage finds and then altering the reprints). As a child I was only allowed to touch photographs by the edges, this is extra fun for me : D.

The purpose of the entire tag is to suitably display the glittered arrow lol. I think I am becoming a back ground junkie.

The stencil and matching stamps are Woodblock Prints by Papertrey Ink. I've only had them a few weeks and I've already gotten my money's worth out of them. The "Boom" is from Tim Holtz' Crazy Thoughts and I love love love love love picket fence distress ink for painting (either alone or mixed with other colors on the craft sheet)..

Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry make Sunset colors. The mini jalopy is finished with the Silver Tarnish technique from Creative Chemistry 102.

Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for a peek at more crafty spaces : D.
