WOYWW 310

I've been blending as the four blending holders and the sample show. I don't know why I put it off for so long lol. I've also been stamping to the left the grid block I use most frequently. To the right a great big one perfect for the Hero Arts Waves background stamp (such a beauty).

Just in front of the turning storage the brush and needle applicator of my new favorite adhesive Ranger Multi Medium Matte. But I just heard about Glue and Seal Matte which I asked Ranger about the difference, it seems Glue N Seal is for lighter adhesive needs, so I'll have to give that a try as well. I might have been using a hammer to swat flies.

This tag was supposed to be with kraft resist, only I didn't have any so I did a little experiment. Kraft cardstock stamped with archival, then Versamark with clear embossing powder, then just Versamark (in the middle). Not the same as kraft resist, but I'm liking both Versamark versions : )

Sequin-tial Birthday Cards

It's a sequin fest of birthday cards. The first one is made using Simon Says Stamp's TV Shaker die. The background is stamped with Iron Orchid Designs Build-A-Frame II with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, Papertrey Ink's Ad Sense stamped with Pumice Stone and Black Soot. And an Inklings robot stamp. The sequins are Simon Says Stamps Pale Pink.

This is mostly a Papertrey Ink card. The background is embossed using the impression plate from Make It Market kit: Luxe Letterpress using Sweet Blush cardstock. The pocket is made with Melon Berry patterned paper cut with the Library Pocket die. The journal card made using the Monthly Moments Mini Journal Card die stamped with the Library Card Mini stamp with Berry Sorbet ink. The sentiment is from Everyday Happiness stamped in Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean Distress Inks. The sequins are Simon Says Stamp Pale Pink.

This card was made for the Papertrey Ink April 2015 Blog Hop. It was okay, but better now with the sentiment from the 2012 Happy Birthday Tags stamp set stamped in Paris Dusk Memento Ink and some large Darice Crystal sequins. I used Ranger Multi Medium Matte to adhere all the sequins. I love this stuff, no shiny glue spots.

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

Both of the stamps are from Club Scrap. The Dandelion stamp is from Nature's Wonder (May 2006) and the sentiment is from Farmer's Garden (October 2006). The dandelions are stamped with Papertrey Ink's Classic Kraft, and painted with Mustard Seed and Bundled Sage Distress Inks (smooshed on the craft mat and spritzed with water). The sentiment is stamped with Versafine. The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink (Stamper's Select White and Classic Kraft).

Did you hear the Buzz?

I'm in love with Dina Wakley's bee from her Scribbled Insects stamp set. It's colored with Black Soot, Pumice Stone and Mustard Seed Distress Inks. The tag is die cut from Tim Holtz Sizzix Tag & Bookplates die and colored with Abandoned Coral and Ripe Persimmon Distress Paints. Then embossing paste was applied through the Tim Holtz Blossom Layering Stencil.

The bee was fussy cut and then vellum wings were glued over the cardstock wings with Ranger Multi Matte Medium (seriously loving this). The card base is Papertrey Ink's Enchanted Evening.

Sympathy Card

I was very influenced by this card. The cardstock is all Papertrey Ink. The base is Vintage Cream, the mat is Enchanted Evening. The background is colored with Peacock Feathers, Shaded Lilac and Wild Honey edged with Tea Dye Distress Inks. The stamps are all from Papertrey Ink Willow stamp and die set. The leaves are stamped with Spring Moss and Simply Chartreuse, the tree truck is stamped with Dark Chocolate and both are edged with Tea Dye Distress Ink.  The twine is Papertrey Ink's Rustic Cream Twine and Darice's Bleached Hemp. The leaves are popped up with foam tape.

WOYWW 309

It's been an intermittent crafting frenzy. At the far back right is the kaleidoscope (decoration still in progress). A scrap of my handpainted 4 ply cabled yarn. A custom inkpad. My heat embossing board. A piece of kraft cardstock in the "lab". Waves background stamp and my new painted flowers Altenew Stamps (multi-stamp goodness).

I don't know where I've been that I didn't know about the Multi Medium Matte (no more shiny glue spots!) and the needle tip dispenser I found at Simon Says. Glossy Accents for the times I want it to shine : D.

I find myself to be even more easily distracted since the accident last week. I find myself wondering just how many creative pots can I put on the "stove" at a time lol. It's taken me 6 hours to get this post written, but I've worked on quite a few things in the meantime.

WOYWW 308

It's the middle of making a birthday card gift set for my father's widow.  The one front and center is a Simon Says TV Shaker card (I've written "Don't Cut this die apart on the back of the die ... because it looks like it might be a cut apart die, but I don't think it is). To the right is my kaleidoscope in progress.

The inside is done, it's just the outer decoration that needs the finishing touches.

On the down side, I hit a deer on Monday. It was a little easier when I thought I had killed her outright. I was horrified when she came to and tried to run off, but couldn't stand up. The officer had to shoot her twice.
