January Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

This month's challenge is to use an under-utilized stamp set, so I put Wonderfully Whimsical to work. I used some wooden craft squares which came in an assortment of sizes ranging from approximately 1/2" to 1.5". I used Aleene's Primer before I started stamping to create a cleaner stamped line. The ink is Memories Sepia. I used watercolor pencils on the larger image. The smaller squares are punched with the smaller Crop-a-dile punch. I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do with these yet, I might put a pin back on the larger one and use the smaller for earrings or I might use them for embellishments.

Hop over to Capture The Moment to see seriously enabling Papertrey Ink projects.

The whimsy of this set works perfectly on the tiny wood squares. I think that once you start placing them, they'll be used often.

Cute! Stamping on wood looks so soft and textured - I'll have to try this sometime!

I think these would make adorable little embellishments with some nice ribbon. Really adorable.

How creative! I never would have thought to stamp directly on wood, but these would make such unique embellishments. Thanks for sharing!
