It's the aftermath of the Club Ruby Designers Design Team storm lol. I've used an mat that I didn't use for a project for a paint pallette. I have been putting my Beacon 3 in 1 Advanced Craft Glue through it's paces and so far it's worked splendidly, especially on those difficult slippery surface to paper scenarios. And the odd triangle on the left is a makeup sponge I was using to apply Distress Ink (Tea Dye) to a project. I actually had to purchase them special for this as I don't own makeup lol. There's also some bits of galvanized tin step flashing and my deluxe ProMag magnets. And my empty Grumpy mug which needs to be washed and refilled with coffee.
Here is a sneak peek of one of my projects to be published at Club Ruby Designers for the October kit on October 1. Other than crafting, I'm trying to cram in all the warm weather chores I didn't get done this summer, like painting DD's room and and planning to strip the paint off a pair of chairs that have been overlooked for 7 summers lol. We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Optimism or delusion, I can never decide lol.
So if you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander. Better yet, snap a picture of your workdesk and join in the fun :D.

I would like to try the beacon 3-in-1... but it costs the same as the scotch quickdry that I use, so haven't made the leap yet :) Think I'll just see how you get on with it and then decide which I'll use. Love your desk! and that sneak peek is a bit intriguing...
Have a wonderful WOYWW!

Lovely busy desk there - we dont get that glue over here so have never tried it. Your sneak peek looks fun - congratulations on having it published!
Overlooking chairs for 7 summers and then giving yourself about 2 weeks - well, there's nothing like a deadline!
Love your desk, looks a really happy place to create - those white plastic circular things are brush holders aren't they? I have some but never thought of using them as shelves, thanks for the idea, much love Jenny
Thanks for visiting Jennibellie :D. The white circular things are two-tiered lazy susans from the kitchen section of a hardware outlet store (I think they are Rubbermaid).
Doone, it's sort of a smiley pumpkin :D
I've never even heard of that glue. I'm still using my trusty UHU that I got when I was a UHU Gluer. And I think it's optimism on the chair front. As for sneak peeks, I think you are a tease!
Sorry I'm so late. I got a late start yesterday because I fell asleep before I could link up with Julia. Now I'm just trying to catch up.
Sounds/looks like you have been having a good time creating. Thanks for the heads up on the glue, I am forever trying new glue. I will keep a look out for that one.
Your desk looks very cozy and inviting! Funny that you mentioned the makeup sponge as I don't use them either, so I went to the store today to get some and they didn't have them! I think crafters are buying them up, lol!
I am having a giveaway on my blog if you would like to come and enter!
xoxo Karen
Apologies for being so late in visiting this week but I really wanted to pop in and see what you were up to last week. Hopefully I will get around much quicker tomorrow. Elizabeth x #73
