WOYWW 136 - Wintery Blessings : )

Not much much crafting has been going on this week. I've been working on re-organizing. I'm making a Ginormous Omelet with all the eggs I've broken lol.

This was all on my craft table yesterday, shoved to the side. I need a sorting hat for all this lol. But since I don't have one, it's slow going. Bookcases have been shuffled and furniture is about to be re-arranged. My Cricut is buried under there except for a bit of the right side. I did find the bone folder I lost last week though :D.

Not pictured, but soon to be featured is an enormous photo box I'm making out of foam core board. When it's done I should be able to photograph double layouts and home decor projects without being at the mercy of the time of day or weather conditions.

And speaking of weather, last year we had a bit more snow than usual (this was taken in December 2010).

This year, we have a lot less. But I'm counting my blessings on the heating bills. If we have much more warmer weather here, we'll be mowing the grass in January lol. It's supposed to be a lot colder tomorrow and over the weekend.

Yep, we're thinking we may have to mow in January as well here in KS! :) I'm so relieved to see I'm not the only one with piles! It's not messy, right?! It's organized! ;)

I don't miss the snow either - very pretty unless you need to get anywhere! Love your piles on your desk... wishing you luck!

I liked your phrases about the eggs and the sorting hat! I like having a good sort out but I don't like the stage where you wish you hadn't started!

That's one enormous icicle in the Dec 10 shot!! Thank goodness it hasn't been like that this year. Our village was cut off for a week then...
Hope your omelette has been super fluffy and tasty!!

I am about to start on the omelette making here too, but starting is about as far as I have got! Well done you for actually doing something!
The weather has been crazy here too, deep snow and ice last year, the cut you off from civilization type, and also thinking about cutting the grass in January too, what next? Snowmen in June?

I'd love to come help you organize. I've missed you. So glad I could finally visit this week. I'm thrilled to be back online and anxious to catch up on your previous posts. I look forward to many more visits.

Happy WOYWW (#3).

MY dearest only commented yesterday that he might have to cut the front grass, it looks really shabby! Good for you with the clear out, sort out and shape up. Come on over and do mine next! Im interested in the photo box...something (anything) is much needed here!

It's hot and humid all year where I live so I kind of get a little jealous when I see pictures or hear of cool...not cold weather! Great day to open the window and organize!

I'm enjoying the warmer weather for sure! Our first snow just hit this past week! I'm ready for it to melt!

What fun! I will have to join in on the WOYWW shenanigans! We got a little snow here this week. I think we are in for a crazy rest of the winter. I look forward to seeing how you will do the photo box. Lighting has always been such a challenge for me on photos.
Thanks!
