WOYWW 141

Happy WOYWW! The paper with the erupting triangles is an experiment (more on that next week I think). The clock is in line for alteration. The little yellow punch (a bee) is left over from my experiements on a faulty photograph. And in case you are interested, my favorite tool of the week is the Tim Holtz ruler with it's lovely steel side for using an xacto blade :D.

I've picked out my book at the dollar store to alter for Elizabeth & Bleubeard's Altered Book Course, only I had to buy two because it looked like it would be an interesting read lol.

And if you love interactive paper crafting, have you seen Papertrey Ink's new dies??? Sliders, pulls and zippers!!!! I still get light headed when I think of all the possibilities!

If you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander! Better yet, snap a picture and share :D.

A ruler with a steel side is certainly needed for an xacto knife. I think it would be a favorite of mine, too, because I don't have a metal with cork back ruler that I can use with that type of cutter.

Ok now I have to make sure to peek next week to see what you are in the process of creating. I have one of the TH rulers and I don't think I use it as much as I should.

I'll be making an altered book with Elizabeth too, so we're going to be classmates! I'm sure we will have lots of fun! Patsy from

Mmm ... got the old brain ticking here but nothing coming out so guess I will have to keep a sharp lookout to see what you are up to.
Be careful with that ruler - mine lost all its details so I have just got another one and will paint it on the back before I use it.
Don't forget to call in and check out my blog candy - it closes late tonight and I should be drawing tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Neet 29

Interesting stuff going on and funny that you had to buy two cheap books! I do like the PTI stuff but way too expensive for me.

Thank you for mentioning the Tim Holtz ruler... it reminded me to add one to my wish list. I have one and love it for the holes mostly and the little lines. I keep it in my travel bag and always have to fish it out to use at home, so I could easily have a second one! Your erupting triangles have me intrigued... and no I have not seen the new papertrey dies. You can't make me go look either. No! No! NOoooo!
