It's not my workdesk, but it's my Altered Alarm Clock (in the pink photoshop circle) at the fair. It sure does look a lot smaller there than it does on my craft table lol. And ohhhhhh my bug, I fell in love with that quilt on the wall, looks like it's made from wool, the quilt maker should be pleased with her work :D.
It's been a long lazy catching up on little projects and napping day for me. But this evening I'll be listening to one of my favorite podcasts and it's featuring Tim Holtz!
And speaking of Tim Holtz, I was channeling my inner TH earlier in the week and came up with a way to make fall leaves out of wax paper (I started with wax paper instead of kraft glassine though). I'm going to make a picture tutorial, but you can read about it here if you are interested :D.
If you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander at crafty goodness all over the world. Better yet, take a picture of your own workdesk and share :D.

Lovely photo - the stuff looks all so textured..
and I think most of half the crafter's i know are channeling their TH this week - what would we do without his products..
Have a great week my dear..
The quilt is beautiful - so detailed. Some lovely flowers here too.

The leaves on that card look soo real. Like you went outside and pulled them off a tree or at least picked them up off the ground. Have to check out your tutorial, I just bought a box of wax paper. #27
Do I spy a ribbon by your altered alarm clock, and I hope you show a better picture of it, would love to see it in more detail! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
Always such a kick to see your work on display, isn't it. We are our worst critics, your clock is beautiful and not small at all (for a clock(. That quilt is amazing, it must have taken ages to do.
Love the leaves and will come back for the tutorial.

I love your card -- great idea using the waxed paper for the leaves and the embossed background definitely brings to mind rain. :) Happy WOYWW (on Thursday evening) from Laura #122
We did leaves like that when I was a kid by melting crayons between wax paper with an iron. Your idea is much safer.
Love your pretty card!!! Looks like a great technique you used!!! Turned out great!
The quilt looks great but couldn't quite make out the clock... lol!
