I'm joining in T Stands for over at Elizabeth's and Bluebeard's. This week I've been stitching like crazy, mostly Scissor Keepers, but I'm also giving my new Coffee Cozy dies from Papertrey Ink a few test drives. I made this one for a family friend who LOVES pink. I had intended to post this last night I also took pictures of my snack (now long done).
It's Jiffy Pop. It's probably an American thing but one never knows. You cook it on the stove top (in the commercial you say "pop pop jiffy pop" but that messes up the shaking in real life (and the popcorn underpops and burns). To get it right it must be shaken and swirled virgously at a very fast tempo. I was sad because I couldn't find it at any shops, but low and behold it's on Amazon (prime).
This isn't the commercial that "sold" me on Jiffy Pop when I was a kid but the idea is there : ).
OMG - I had no idea they still make Jiffy Pop!! I love your drink cozy. Papertrey Ink sure does carry lots of fab products! I have a few sets of their stamps and use them quite often. Happy T day!
I'm a microwave popcorn kind of gal, but I have made Jiffy Pop a few times years ago. Had to laugh that you were able to find it on Amazon. My friend Scott told me you can get ANYTHING on Amazon and now I believe him!
I'm thrilled that you shared this cozy with us for T this Tuesday. It's totally adorable, even though I'm not a pink person. And it's so, so functional, too.
What fun I didn't realize they still made jiffy pop. Great memories! We use a hot air popper. The cup cozy you made is wonderful...so pretty and useful. Happy April to you and yours... oxo

Cute cup cozy! I'm not sure I've ever had Jiffy Pop. I've always thought about buying it for campfires though just for fun!
