What I have mostly been doing for the last month and a halfish. : D. My first ever knitalong, mesh stitch, seed stitch, BRIOCHE stitch (that one almost did me in), marled knitting, full size shawl amongst other firsts I've forgotten. It's by WestKnits the pattern is Marled Magic. And I am making the medium size. It's a rare thing to just work mostly on one thing when it's a project for myself. I've managed to squeeze in some of my handspun pet skeins (spun just for spinning sake) and some Christmas knitting leftovers.
I've made notes for the mini album or scrapbook pages that are in the works to document this lol.
Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for more crafty peeks : D.

Hi there. Wow! Well done you on sticking with this - Brioche stitch??? I've never heard of that one. It's looking lovely - and to think you have put in your own spun wool - brilliant. I once span(?) enough Jacob wool to make myself a pair of mittens. Wore them for years, but have unfortunately never done any spinning since.
Take care. God bless.

Saw this on FB and loved it there! Great choice of colours and stitches...though I've never heard of brioche stitch before. Shall have to investigate it!!

What a great set of stitches. I've never come across brioche stitch before, but then I'm more a knit/purl kind of knitter. Hope you finish and share soon. Sarah #9
