WOYWW 601

The Carnage of last Thursday and Friday is ebbing slowly away. Round 2 is about to start, except I tweaked my back... not enough to completely stop, just enough to be really inconvenient. I also baked bread in my new bread maker. Two loaves were successful, the third I forgot to add the yeast... it was a real standin for things to be catapulted when you want to smash something.

In knitting knews, the knitting portion of the Mystery Knit Along is done. Now I need to weave in some ends and fluff them up with a sharp needle to help the ends stay in place. A tip I learned from an online class taught by Ann Budd. When that is done it needs a nice soak and a blocking : D.

Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for more crafty peeks : D.

I thought I'd never get to the posts today, three deliveries of craft stuff, one delivery of a surprise raffle prize, walking dogs, sorting mum's vaccination, trying to finish some cards and that's without the usual stuff like cooking Lol! But I'm here now and it's great to see your knitting develop but sorry to hear that your back is not so good today. Take care and wishing you a lovely creative week, Angela x19x

Carnage is right about your desk. I really enjoyed reading about the bread with no yeast. I got a really good laugh from it. Didn't understand the mystery knit, but it looks pretty. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Hi,
Sorry about your back, me too. Hope you feel better soon
that's interesting about weaving in ends. I never would have thought of fluffing up ends to help them stay in place. I must try it
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

I can't wait to see the finished knit when it's been blocked. The hints have looked most intriguing. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

I'm not a proper knitter, but I have had a go; a nice soak and a blocking?? that sounds painful! Sorry I'm late, still haven't got back into blogging like I used to. Hope you feel better, and have a happy WOYWW week. Stay Safe ((Lyn)) #15....

Really, late, sorry. What a brilliant tip to the weaving of ends, clever clever. So sorry about the third loaf, but couldn’t help smiling....just when you think you’ve got a recipe down!! Ouchie your poor back, not great timing, and just horrid, hope it tweaks itself back very quickly. I wonder how you’re getting on with carnage round two by now?

So glad someone else is enjoying a new bread maker too! I am loving mine, and having great fun experimenting with new recipes. I laughed out loud at your remark about catapult practice with the "unleavened" version lol lol!! It reminds me of a very flat round loaf my mum made once - Dad posed like an ancient Greek discus thrower with it - wish I could find that photo! Mum was NOT amused!!! Your mystery knitting has me most intrigued. Thank you for the excellent tip about weaving in the ends. Must remember that one.

Happy belated WOYWW,
