WOYWW 632

The current state of the workdesk... the table top was cut down from 36" x 60" to 29" x 50" and 34" legs were attached. I am still using the dollar store tablecloth I bought 12 years ago. It's sort of like figuring one of those sliding puzzles. Figuring what to put where.

Because I have a counter high table I also bought an A-Stand for the computer.

The first of three metal shelves. I bought shelf liners which makes them so much more useful. Plus hooks to keep scissors in plain sight (in theory) and some hanging pockets I didn't need for one of my rolling carts : D. Definitely taking the tortoise approach lol.

It's a constant problem in my craft room - figuring out where to put what! Good luck with the sort out Angela #7

I like how you have stored the hand tools and punches. I can see where loss of space would cause concern with where to put things. I think you are doing well with the idea of building higher when you have no iother space. Good luck finding room for everything, Sally. Happy WOYWW from # 6.

I am surrounded by stuff - not having a desk means I don't have the problem of what to put on it as it's probably on the floor ..... good luck! Helen #2

I’m all for the tortoise approach, no rash decisions being made here! Like the idea of hanging stuff like scissors…sets me thinking. And how are you finding a narrower work top? Bet it was strange at first. Keep going gal, it keeps me going!!

Sorting and rearranging seems to be a perennial problem for crafters. SLow and steady wins the race though. Looking good! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

I like the idea of having the scissors so handy - they can so easily 'hide' under stuff! I spend my life figuring out what to put where, I don't think a craft room is every really sorted - there's alwasy new stuff coming in!
