WOYWW 274

I've dug out my very very old stamps (15 years bought at a stamping convention where all the stamps were made of actual rubber) for the Simon Says Go Boldly into Stampember to stamp big and bright (Picked Raspberry Distress Ink is as bright as I own). I've actually been using the white eraser for erasing instead of stamp carving lol. The pink eraser is carved into a mouse stamp. In the stack at the back is a STACK of monster cards for a friend who loves them (birthday present), she doesn't read my blog though, so peeks are safe lol.

I was able to get another idea out of my head, and into the world.  This is the stitch die from Papertrey Ink's Regency Era mini kit, cut out of Shrinky Dink, stitched with a handspun wool/silk embroidery thread, shrunk (feels like a tapestry after shrinking) and then the threads painted with Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Bundled Sage Distress Ink (smooshed on the craft mat and spritzed with water).

To see more crafty spaces around the world, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground.

Love the fish card on your desk at the back... And I think I can see the pink rubber made into a stamp on the left?

Your technique with embroidery in the cross stitch die using Shrinky Dink interesting. I might have to try this...
