WOYWW 331
A much tighter crop than usual as I'm working on a Guest Artist project and apparently not very skilled at seeing bits and pieces that shouldn't be seen until after the picture is taken. So I found a video on making a stamping tool out of clear DVD cases. There is a commercial project that is larger, but much more expensive than things I have on hand (DVD case, Fun Foam, possibly part of an old Cricut Mat to keep the paper in place...). And since I'm no longer using them to store stamps, I can set up several of them. Very handy for making multiples. I'm testing it out with Papertrey Ink's Brushed Blooms which has multiple layers for images.
Here's the video. BTW The woman who made the video is using Altenew's Vintage Roses which is a fabulous set. And if you love multiple layer stamps, check out Kitchen Sink Stamps, they are aMAZing. No affiliation with any of these companies, just a very happy customer.

I never heard of this technique. The finished result looks beautiful!

Great idea for the DVD case - made me think - must find some uses for the blank cases I have. Jackie#28
Oh you bad gal. I've just had to go find an English distributor for Altenew...you're right. Fab. Flowers - as if I need more! I can see the use you'll make from this stamp thingy, very clever.
