WOYWW 341

There's a clearing for the next set of projects. Actually it's the next step in a production of 5. I feel like I'm keeping my head above water this crafting season, as long as I can keep moving lol.

If you are doing anything that requires a care label, attach a little of the material it is made from to it to make it easy for the recipient to remember what the instructions are for : D.

WOYWW 340

Back to Dome Work, a smattering of dies and the first steps in the first of the Christmas Note books, pretty much all the same.

This dome is featuring The Snowman and his faithful companion (the dies are from Crafter's Companion). The house, tree and base are all from Papertrey Ink's Tinsel & Tag kit.

The all the pages are stamped with this monocled fellow and "I say Old Bean" or "Jolly Well Done" all from My Kind of Guy from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I have some stitching going on and the knitting to block and stitch up, so I'm feeling totally elvish (though not at all in  Tolkien sort of way lol).

WOYWW 339

Tis the time for Christmas Knitting. This one is mindless, so I knit whilst at our Thanksgiving Movie (The Good Dinosaur), and can watch my favorite Korean Dramas (Oh My Ghost, She Was Pretty and Oh My Venus) guilt free.

But I've also been working on a few other things. I made earrings with The Snowman die (out of Shrinky Dink).

The Snowman as Earrings

A Metal Die, some Shrinky Dink, Markers and jewelry findings and it's some very easy to make earrings (as long as you remember to punch the hole first).

The presentation packaging is made using Papertrey Ink's Boutique Accessories with a bit of scotch tape on the backside of the patterned paper to keep the earrings in place during their travels.

November 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

November 2015 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, a simple card using Stamper's Select White, Stocking Prints and Simply Chartreuse and Enchanted Evening inks.

WOYWW 338

I forgot to switch my iPad camera settings back to "photo". I picked up some new Papertrey Ink goodies.

Making a few Official Nice List Declaration cards.

I found some big ass domes. They easily cover my regular  domes.

And here's a picture of the completed Christmas Golf Dome (complete with working snowball and golf hole).

Christmas Golf Dome

An interactive Christmas Golf Dome for my father's widow who loves golf. I made the snowman and the snow golf ball out of toilet paper and a smidge of glue (this dries much faster than paper clay at this size). I assembled the snowman and attached it with glossy accents. When it had dried I covered it and the snowball with Icicle Stickles. The tiny tree is one I picked up at a big box store and removed the base. The golf cart is die cut and stamped using On the Links stamp and die set with Shrinky Dink so it would fit in the dome.

Make sure the tree is not going to be cramped by the dome (unless that is the look you are going for lol).  The dome base is from the Make It Market kit: Tinsel & Tags. The tag on the front is from Tinier Tags from Stamp-a-faire 2015 stamped with the Merry Christmas from the Make It Market kit: All Through the House (attached to the dome with Glossy Accents).

I made the golf hole by using a standard size hole punch and attaching a piece of straw underneath it and a piece of cardstock at the base of the straw. I punched a hole for the tree wire and put some glossy accents around the hole to make sure the tree stayed put. The tree is decorated with red Stickles. The golf cart is attached with Glossy Accents.
