WOYWW 262
Happy WOYWW. Today I have a card in progress (for the Simon Says Paint challenge),I used distress paint on a fun foam stamp I cut with the Friendship Jar from Papertrey Ink (it's the orange shape on the left) which I glued to a piece of plastic clam shell. The re-inkers are for the Make It Monday at Papertrey Ink, which is making an inkpad out of a babywipe and re-inkers. The challenge for me is that I only have black and various tones of brown re-inkers, so it's time to make a thinking cap lol.
On the organizational front, I love Papertrey Ink, but sometimes it's difficult for me to see the images, so I took an 8.5" x 11" paper, scored it at 5.25", folded it and then punched holes. The stamped images of the set on the front, tip sheet info is written on the back and in the fold out part is where I glue cuts from the dies, and notes about the set I have rattling around in my head. The stamp set here is All Booked Up.
UPDATE: Ordinarily this is where I'd be directing you to our chief desker's blog, however she is in the hospital so there won't be a central hopping location this week and possibly next. Hoping she is up and about soon.

Golfer's Notepad
A golfer's notepad made with Erin Lincoln's technique for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #167. I also entered it in Simon Says Father's Day Challenge (because it's for my dad, but he doesn't read my blog).
I really love using every bit of my crafting supplies (including the packaging). The notepad gift sleeve is made with the cellophane from a rubberstamping package and the rosette is made from a Papertrey Ink stamp set label.
Notepad: 4.25 x 5.5 cardstock, scrap paper (for the "binding" at the top) PTI On the Links stamp set, PTI Classic Kraft Inkpad, Distress Ink Black Soot, Score Tape.

WOYWW 261
Apparently I don't have ANY fleshy dinosaur stamps (I have a few fossil stamps though). I've resumed my effort to stamp all my stamps. I stamp them on the appropriate sheets (background, dogs, future, Eiffel Tower etc) and then slip the sheets into plastic sleeves in a large notebook/binder. I'm still trying to work out how store the different sorts of stamps. It's a been work in progress since 1998 lol.
I use this shoe holder to store my large and most used punches. All the floor in front of it was cleared the other day, but slowly things are moving in. .
I'm really pleased with the way this card has turned out (details are here). I'm thinking about making a copy for a flip book desky sort of thing (they stand up on their own and you can switch the picture). For more crafty desks, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground.

You know it was a good day card
Just Jingle made a Dinosaur with Balloons card for Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge. I was positive I had some Dinosaur stamps, but they are well hidden if I do.
I had to make do with a little monster stamp (with teeth drawn in) and a flower crown. I hand cut the speech bubble and stamped it with "You know it was a good day if you didn't Hit or Bite anyone. Nathanial Parizek, Age 4."
Stamps: Recollections: Little Monsters (with teeth drawn in), Inkadinkadoo Kate Harper Designs (wood block stamp)
Inks: Memento Black Tuxedo, Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
Memento Dual Markers: Lulu Lavender, Angel Pink, Lilac Posies, Rose Bud
Stickles: Cotton Candy, Milled Lavender (Distress Stickles), Crystal
Vintage Cream Papertrey Ink cardstock
Flowers Beyond Birthday flowers leftover from another project, folded to add dimension and attached with a drop of Viva Decor.
