WOYWW 351

I finally bought the Papertrey Ink Doily Details die set , I picked up a couple of stamp sets and the new Bright Buttercup inkpad as well. The bag in the back has some alcohol sprays I took to a crop, but haven't put away yet.

There are punch out tools as well, but I thought I'd use them a bit just poking out the cut outs that stick. It's a sort of meditative thing with a productive bonus. At least for now.

I've had a bug for about a month now, that is getting boring, but (knock wood) finally seems to be be passing slowly. Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for peeks at more crafty spaces.

Shopping Time was Fun Time

A re-do of a previous page. I worked full-time and we commuted about a hour each way (depending on traffic and weather), so a big part of our quality time was while we were shopping. I used Papertrey Ink's Label Basics and the matching dies except for the large rectangle to the left which required partial inking of a smaller stamp to stamp the corners and then fill in the edges on the sides. The labels were cut from scraps of patterned paper and stamped with Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist inks.

The title was a negative of the original title cut (Cricut, Street Signs Solutions cartridge) used with a foam blender and Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The shopping carts are from My World cartridge spritzed with a shimmery mist and saved from the original layout.

Magnet Gift Set

The parameters were something for a couple in a very small space. So I made a "book" of refrigerator magnets that could be stored in a bookcase.  I scored and folded a sheet of Stamper's Select cardstock, rounded the two outer corners and covered the spine with washi tape. I stamped the images from Warmest Wishes in black and one of the tags from 2011 Holiday Tags in Pure Poppy.

Inside a sheet of galvanized steel step flashing (not aluminum) with corners rounded with a corner chomper attached with scor-tape.

Before I cut the magnets, I covered the sheet with Papertrey Ink's Adhesive Paper, which make's it easier to attach paper to the magnets. The images were all cut from Stamper's Select White Cardstock, stamped, colored with Distress Markers, and then glued to the magnets.

Papertrey Ink Dress Up Inpiration

One of my favorite shirts is a Brown Tiki Kingdom Grumpy tee (I actually have two of them). So I wrote Grumpy along the bottom of the dress. Papertrey Ink 9th Anniversary Dress Up Inspiration.

Papertrey Ink Grab and Craft Challenge

Five minute card, with Winter Hills, Dsitress Markers and Diamond Stickles.

Papertrey Ink Sampler Square Challenge

Using Daily Designs stamp set with Sweet Blush, Lovely Lady and Hibiscus Burst for "painting" and Raspberry Fizz and Pure Poppy for stamping the details.

Color Pop Fortune Teller

Color Pop Fortune Teller using Simply Chartreuse, Berry Sorbet, and Royal Velvet. I used double stamping or stamping off to achieve variation in the colors.
