WOYWW 168 - News from the Fair

Relatively empty desk this week. The black circles will become nifty vinyl (also known as records back in the day lol) embellishments for one of DD's projects. And my local ACMoore is a budget saboteur, they have an entire section of discounted TH products. I've been pining for the die since it came out and it was priced at $10 and the stamps were $2.00. I didn't linger in that aisle lol.

The results of the entries were: Altered Alarm clock, 3rd place, Memory Page, honorable mention, Novelty Yarn, honorable mention, Umbrella Man card, honorable mention, Hanging Christmas Ball Ornament (pictured above) not accepted. I'm really tickled pink about it all, especially the Umbrella Man card as it was a filler so I wouldn't have any unfilled entries (you have to fill out entry forms a month or so in advance). It was my first time participating and I'm already thinking about what I'll be doing for next year lol.

If you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander. Better yet, snap a picture of your own desk and share :D.

Hi there, my friend! Your dd knows about vinyl records?!!! I asked some kids weeks ago and they looked at me like I was from Mars!!! LOL!

Sounds like there were some great entries although I'm sorry your ball didn't make it!

Hugs, hon!

Did you know there's a Rockport in Texas, on the coast? I remember watching a movie (I think it is called Mystic Pizza with Julia Roberts) and waiting to see where it was filmed because it just looked so sweet and quaint - and on the coast. Yep, Rockport, MA!

Congrats on the entries!!

Happy WOYWW

Wow! You did GREAT at the fair!! I've never tried that before but I just might now that you've inspired me!

TH stamps for $2?!?!?! Oh how I wish we had an AC Moore in my part of the country!

Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by and entering my giveaway!! And also for checking out my tutorial! I LOVE that glitter and the technique, and I's so happy that there's 27 yards on that roll of Scor-Tape...I think I'm gonna need it! Haha!

Very nice! We don't have ACMoore's around here but we do have Tuesday Morning and they did the same thing with dies and embellies. Love all the Tim Holtz bargains! Awesome hanging ball! Sorry I am so late getting around but it is what it is with family, crafts, etc. time can sometimes become a premium! Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #68

Tim Holtz stamps for $2 ?!?! I would be all over that deal too.

I have a few 45's and was thinking of crafting them into something new, then I inherited a record player -- now I'm torn.
