WOYWW 224

Frankly I'm shocked by this picture. I dropped my beloved Panasonic Lumix and the screen has gone blank. It lights up, but there is nothing but a white screen. So I've been looking up fixes on YouTube, and if I'm lucky I'll be able to unscrew it, reconnect the cable and good as new. If you note the Drum of Tools (which my child demanded be sold to her for her mother at the school Christmas Store many years ago because it was on the Father's Table), sadly none of the screwdrivers are small enough.

Nothing else has changed because I've spent a few days in South Carolina visiting my father and his wife along with all of my sisters. But it only occurred to me to try the camera on the last day. Pretty good for blind shooting lol.

If you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander. Better yet, snap a picture and join in the fun!

Oh I do like all of the beads in bags! Try a screwdriver made for eyeglasses. There are a couple of really small sized tips to chose from. Nice pic for shooting 'blind'. :) Happy WOYWW! Nan G #3

oh no, hope you find a screwdriver small enough, I am pretty sure I got a good set of tiny screwdrivers in Walmart, I keep them hidden as if hubby gets his hands on them they will left somewhere!

That's not good news about your camera ... What abot using a screwdriver from an eye glass kit they are small and you will get a set for a couple of dollars in wal mart I would think

I am loving your desk today as I can see some really lovely crafting stash on it.
I hope you get a small enough screwdriver to enable you to make the repair
Have a great day today and a wonderful weekend

Hope you manage to sort your camera - hubby dropped ours the other day, too. Most of the time it works, but occasionally we get "Camera error" pop up on the screen. The only answer is to turn off and begin again! Lovely busy desk - do I detect a slight left sweep having been employed in order to make room for the next task?
Have a great week.

Ooh South Carolina looks pretty inviting. And good for you for getting a fix idea for the camera..I'd have just lamented and considered it broken. Great pics...specially of your desk, love the angle. And the tool drum story, how cute.

I hope you are able to fix your camera - nothing like shooting blind!

Your desk looks nice and busy - can see the stack of Distress Ink Pads and the Bottles. I accidently bought some of the Distress Ink Daubers (meant to buy the spray). I will be organizing my craft supplies this weekend so I can better see what exactly I have!

Thanks for the peek.

So the camera works but you can't see what you are taking a picture of? Oh my! That could make for some interesting shots. It sounds like what you really need are some eyeglass screwdrivers. You should be able to pick them up at a drugstore. Hopefully you can get it fixed! I like the low angle shot you did on your desk.

Such interesting things on your desk. Thanks for the drum story. Thanks for visiting my space, too. Hope the camera gets fixed for you. I always have things like that happen to me. I am typing on a laptop that is now a destop....

How wonderful that you could spend time with all the family this past week and I hope you get your camera sorted. Isn't it frustrating when the technology we are so dependent on breaks down. I am having pc issues at present and waiting for it to die completely. Have a great week! Happy WOYWW! Danie #38

OMG!! I dropped MY Lumix too and had a similar thing happen but never even considered trying a self-fix. Now I am going to have to hunting :) If I can even remember where I stashed the darn thing. I am not so happy with the Finepix I bought as a replacement. Hate the batteries and other issues with it. I would love to have my Lumix back.

Happy (now my internet is back) WOYWW!
