The Aftermath of the Battle of the Cots Layout

A layout documenting the struggle of setting up cots on gravel, rather than grass which I practiced on. I used tiny brads to anchor strings to labels explaining different things in the photograph. The paper is from Anna Griffin. I used stamps from Papertrey Ink's Summer camp for the sentiment, camera, shoe print (stamped with Dark Chocolate) and the green pine trees (stamped in Avocado Green). The labels are cut with Rounded Labels (stamped with Classic Kraft).

From Club Scrap's Great Outdoor kit. I used two photo mats and two Journal Tags. The "Got Adventure" is a journal tag that was cut apart. The top was used as an embellishmen., The bottom for the pine tree on the right side of the layout. The pine stamped in black is also from the kit. I used the "make it happen" frame sticker in combination with the "triumph" cut out. The green mat is turned into a pocket by only putting tape on the bottom and sides, because I almost always think of something I wanted to say after the layout is finally finished. BTW this trip was taken in 2007 lol.

The title is made from alphabet stickers. The little ones are from Cosmo Cricket tiny type. I think the stickers used for "aftermath" are from 3 Birds, but I'm not certain.

Great layout! It's great to scrap some of those older photos. I still have a fairly large stack, myself so I'm impressed! Thank you for sharing your work with us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
