WOYWW 436

My desk has been neglected lately. This is pretty much how it has looked since September 27.  The stamp set is Tim Holtz Doodled [somethings] I found on sale (I totally have a merry & bright addiction). Note the Peerless Watercolor book perched atop the Distress Oxides?

I was on a roll, doing things like the creativebug book art class (this is watercolor with salt and Gansai Tambi Starry Colors (6 tones of gold)).

Then I had to travel to Florida for 3 days. With an 8 hour stay at the airport (cue scream face). So I totally overpacked crafty things.

I made a peerless watercolor travel kit (glue bits of peerless warercolor onto cardstock, use waterbrush) for airport crafting.

two colored crayons from the dollar store, colored pencils, gold gel pen, waterbrush, tiny travel notebook that bleeds through which provides an opportunity to embellish  lol.

Some airport knitting (my shawl is matching the carpet, my knee is matching the tile lol. I try to blend in wherever I go). I also had an embroidery bag, coloring book, treasure pouch material, and spinning supplies).  When I got home I promptly succumbed to all the airport germs culminating in a trip to the ER last week. Today I am starting to feel crafty again.

Pleased to hear it's not just me that takes loads of stuff with me when travelling. You never know when you may be stranded and we have to use our time wisely. Have a lovely belated woyww, Angela x7x

Sorry to hear you were poorly after your 8hour sojourn at the airport... but what comfortable chairs!! Hard plastic at most airports over here. Excruciatingly uncomfortable.
Take care. God bless.

Hope you are recovering from the ER visit. You certainly had enough to keep you occupied at the airport. What a pity the germs couldn't stay away! Sarah #20
