WOYWW 480

I have been a "sort them by company" person for years. But for some stamps, I am sorting them by theme where possible. I have a travel section, a journal section (writing spaces mostly), alphabets, and now, sea and space with plans for another food and drink after I get another order in the correct box size lol. Why spend money on organization when I can spend it on crafty things : D.

Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground for peaks at more crafty spaces.

Happy WOYWW...I too had them by company, and sorted them by theme and have enjoyed that a lot...Flowers, birds, words, hearts on and on Just trying to use ones I've never touched, always love the new ideas, but just quit ordering for awhile and seem to be doing just fine !! #18 hAVE a good week.

It's interesting trying to decide the best way to organise stamps. I do tend to keep all my Christmas stamps, dies and stencils together otherwise they are organised in companies. Wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x12x

Hi, it does seem we all have different systems, but mine are mostly in theme folders, just a few are by manufacturer. Have a lovely week,Hugs, Shaz #3 XxX

Organizing is a boring but necessary task. I like mine by theme. Happy WOYWW. Dorlene #26

I have mine by company, it works for me. but I can see the advantage of by theme. (I do keep all my - wooden - sentiments together though for ease) Helen #4

Sounds like a great way to organise, I tend to keep mine together as brands but like Angela try and keep at least some seasonal stamps & accessorises together. Thanks for sharing WOYWW Tracey #5

I think there are as many ways to sort your stash as there are fish in the sea, lol! But I do enjoy having a good sort out as well, think I must be a frustrated archivist or something :-D

I’ve tried every which way and they are now loosely themed, with cross overs! Except Christmas...texts, alphas, anything vaguely of that season is in one box which I try to put away in January and not get out again till October. Epic fail there, but the themed thing..small win!

I tend to sort by theme (although it doesn't always work because things seem to criss cross over). I like your thinking about spending on craft rather than organisation (although I have to confess to having spent a lot over the years for various kinds of storage). Thanks for sharing. Sorry I’m late commenting. Hope you have a good week. Hazel, WOYWW #17 x

I have a mixture of systems. Some stamps I keep organised by companies or designer, but I also have boxes arranged by theme which makes life easy when working on a project. Good luck with your sorting. Sarah #19

I sort my stamps by theme also, but my friend sorts them by company - both are good, but when I want a stamp, I know the theme but rarely the company! I'm sure you will find things much easier by theme! Have a great week, Lindart #24
