WOYWW 593

The desk was cleared and then messed up again : D. I am working on some wayyyyy over due baby booties for a kid who is now running lol. I figure the mother will either use them for decoration, save them for another child or give them away. When I unearthed my desk I found all the pieces, so I figured I might as well finish them. I finally got a Heidi Swapp Memorydex punch (huzzah) so much easier than the notch die I bought, though it was only $2 and the punch was a bit more. Just out of view is my computer. I went to a virtual crop over the weekend and did my first zooms lol. Another square check off on my 2020 Bingo card : D. Since I only have an OTT lite in a dark room I looked a bit like a luminescent ghost.

I even made Banana bread between Zooms lol. I feel very accomplishted :D

I also started the new WestKnits Mystery Shawl Knitalong. My notes thus far : D.

My colors for this section. #NeonsAreANeutral : D.

Hi there. Glorious yarn colours - hope the mysterious shawl turns out just fine. Well done getting back to the bootees - even if the recipient is now running around. Enjoy your banana bread!
Take care. God bless.

Zoom & banana bread....you’ll sleep well tonight!! I had a zoom meeting today too. I don’t like them much but have found my long hair covers my wrinkly neck quite well. I’ve not found the button that smooths out my laughing lines yet...
Take care with hugs from Sue #23. xx

Goodness I did laugh about those booties - life just happens doesn't it? I have a friend who has been making a baby quilt for her grandson for five years - he's just started school. She said the other day she had better try and finish it before her great grandson comes along! I am always envious of anyone who can bake - I do have time these days to practice but don't need the temptation so maybe I will never hone those skills! The yarn colours are just awesome - have fun with that. Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #21

What a gorgeous combination of colours of yarn. I do look forward to seeing what becomes of them. I keep looking at the Heidi Swapp stuff but wonder whether I will use it a great deal. Stay safe Sarah #3

Oh yeah, booties for a runner. It’s the child’s fault - grew too fast! I’m with you though, you’ve got the pieces, you may as well make them up. And I’m sure the Mama will be really pleased! Great minds miss Sally, I put a banana loaf in the freezer this week...it was all i could do to let it cool and not attack it! Mind you, I dont recall being productive whilst it was cooking...!

I'm late this week as I was out in the garden all day yesterday and so on catch up today. I must look into Zoom though I've not had any reason to use it. Messy desks are the best in my eye and the banana bread looks scrummy. Wishing you a very happy belated woyww, Angela x19x
