WOYWW 197 - Clearly Something Is Going On

I'm attempting a Papertrey Ink Make It Monday entry (this week's challenge is to make a card with a clear base). Only static electricity is distracting me. Oh yes, I DO have four cats (and a dog, a guinea pig and a hamster named Venus). It didn't help that I started the card in my freshly washed fleece bathrobe. So I will start again after drinking a lot of water and wearing cotton (but sometimes even cotton turns into shrink wrap).

I'm still out of sorts about Daylight Savings Time. I hate it. I want to glide gently into spring, each day lengthening a bit at both ends instead of being jerked back into darkness in the morning. To see the sun's zenith coincide with Noon instead of One O'clock. (Going with an Op/Ed instead of a PSA this week lol).

Anyway, if you are wondering what's all this WOYWW, head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander at crafty spaces all over the world. Better yet, snap a picture of your workspace and join in the fun.

I haven't worked with transparancies in ages and seeing this (and reading the 'problems', which I remember clearly ;) ) I might seek my drawers if I have any transparancies left... your workdesk is inspiring! happy woyww, Marit #79

I don't like being disrupted by daylight savings time either, takes a month to adjust to it. Curious to see what becomes of your transparentcies.

I was cutting some shapes the other day out of acetate and they kept getting lost. I sprayed some fabric softener on it and it quit that. They wipe off with windex if need be! Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Vickie #1

Letter to the Editor:
Dear Editor,
YOU ROCK. I so agree with you about daylight savings time. It always reminds me of what a truly odd concept time is; we don't like what time it is? No problem. We'll just change it. So in Alaska it's now dark again when we go to work at 7:30 but light out until like 8:30 at night.

PS good luck wit the transparencies!
