WOYWW 223

Happy WOYWW! I've been shifting things. I had many of my craft supplies in those little compartmentalized bins. I've come to see that really didn't suit me. So I've been scooping things out of the compartments into little craft bags which go into shoebox style containers which are sorted by a general type. This is the "oooo that would be great for spindles" collection lol.

This was a bit of accidental creativity. While making a dowel sizer, I accidentally made a ring. There were two bits sticking out and when I was "de-hazarding" it, I saw and turned it into a heart. Yes I even sort my errands by type lol.

Head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a gander. Or better yet, snap a picture of your desk and join in the fun : ).

A sign of a true crafter when you can turn a bit of wire into a heart ring. Have a lovely week.

It's tough to figure out what works best for you. See something try and voila it works but when it doesn't back to sorting and findng treasures in your piles of stash

I do that all the time... think I have found a better way but in all honesty, its just a case of too much stuff and I forget what I have! LOL Love the ring you made, very clever! Happy WOYWW Annette #2

It's surprising how often a method of storage which in theory ought to be perfect, turns out to be less than helpful in use. Hopefully your bags will be more helpful to you. Love your accidental heart. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #55

I've been shifting my stuff into plastic baggies and then into clear containers since I am acquiring too much "little" stuff, and then putting it into clear containers. Seems there is lot of organization going on this WOYWW.

I love the ring too! Perfect definition of a true crafter. Happy WOYWW week. Rasz #125

Enjoy the sorting...I know I always love that part!

Funny how we can seem to spend as much time sorting and organizing as we do creating!

PS Nearly forgot...love the ring!!!

Oh love the bags of eye screws! And lots of lovely beads there! I'm such a nut I get excited over hardware! I have to agree tho...sorting in little bags then boxing like items is much better and I can find things easier. I've just started de-packaging my TH embellies. A bit with late but Happy WOYWW!
